Solar Tracker Systems

The solar tracker system can be a powerful tool to maximize the performance of your solar installation. It is most useful during the summer and spring seasons when the Sun is at its strongest. Single-axis trackers become less useful as they move northward. These seasons have a higher solar angle variance, and a lower horizontal position for the Sun. This makes vertical axis trackers an ideal option for high-latitude locations.

Solar trackers with dual-axis

A dual-axis, solar tracker system can be a more efficient way of capturing more solar energy. This system places your panels high on the pole and follows both horizontally and vertically the Sun's radiations, optimizing their output. This type of system can double your annual power production by up to 40%

Dust removal system

An efficient device that automatically removes solar panel dust is the solar tracker dust-removal system. This device tracks the direction of maximum light concentration, and changes direction automatically when it drops. This system can be used with any type of solar energy system and uses a variety of technologies.

NX Horizon

NX Horizon's unique design incorporates vibration proof fasteners and self aligning module rails. The system can be installed easily and is self-powered. Because of its decentralized architecture, it can be easily installed on many terrains, including those with undulating terrains. This design also reduces the need for grading. Several projects have used the NX Horizon system, including an 838 megawatt project in Villanueva, Mexico, which went online nine months ahead of schedule.

NX Gemini

NX Gemini solar tracker systems are built with durability and lifetime value in the mind. Its design eliminates dampers. The system produces virtually no energy loss during storage, making it an ideal choice on challenging sites.

RBI

The RBI solar tracker allows optimal tracking of panels and maximizes energy generation. The tracker can be used in both utility-scale and commercial applications. Made in America materials make the trackers in-house. To reduce stress and ensure tracking stability at each foundation, the company's most recent model includes a Gearbox design at each pile.

Array Technologies

Array Technologies is an Albuquerque based manufacturer of solar trackers. It is the world's 2nd largest supplier, following PV Hardware. Soltec is another tracker vendor, as are Arctech SolarSTI and GameChange Solar. Oaktree Capital has backed Array as a publicly traded company. Array earned $76 million from $552 million revenue in the first six months. According to Array's IPO filing at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. 87 percent of Array’s revenues were from the U.S.
